Prof Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang's full speech during the NDC campaign launch

Running mate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer, Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang, has said the Women Development Bank being proposed by the party will be a game changer for most women and their families.

During a day tour of some markets in Accra, she asked traders to vote for the NDC in the December elections for development and prosperity.

Professor Opoku-Agyemang and her campaign team visited the Mallam Atta Market, the Kaneshie Market and the Makola Market all in Accra to interact with the traders.

She said the NDC is better at building markets and improving the lives of the people and asked that they vote for John Mahama and the party’s parliamentary candidates.

“You remember the Kejetia Market in Kumasi, you remember the Kotokraba Market in the Central Region? She asked.

The running mate particularly lauded the efforts of women charged voters to check their names in the register when the Electoral Commission begins the voter register exhibition exercise.
