Ghanaian musician-turned-evangelist, Lord Kenya, has announced the burial date and funeral arrangement of his late father, Nana Akpor Kainyah.
The funeral arrangement will commence with a lying in state on Wednesday, August 7, 2024, at his residence in Apemso, close to Apemso Pentecost Church, beginning 8 am.
The interment will take place privately on Thursday, August 8, 2024, at Sanzule, Nzema.
The final funeral rites will be held on Saturday, August 10, 2024, at Hero’s Park, Kumasi Sports Stadium, from 12 PM to 6 PM.
The thanksgiving mass will take place on Sunday, August 10 2024, at Face of Grace Covenant Temple, close to Ahodwo Melcom in Kumasi.
Finally, a family gathering will be held on Sunday, August 11, 2024, at his residence in Apemso.
