GWR: Nigerian man sets new record by twerking for 3 hours

A Nigerian man Babajide Isreal Adebanjo has set a new record for the longest twerking by an individual.

Mr. Adebanjo achieved this feat after twerking for three hours and thirty minutes during his record attempt on January 19, 2024 in Lagos.

Confirming the record, the Guinness World Records (GWR) on its website said: “This record attempt was personal to Babajide as it was a way for him to get out of his comfort zone and to raise awareness for anyone suffering from depression all around the world’’.

Babajide embarked on this attempt to create awareness for depression while encouraging others that anyone can achieve their goal regardless of their uniqueness.

‘‘His message is that no record is too crazy, too big, too great or too little to achieve. There is always space for everyone and their unique attributes’’ they added, emphasising the inclusivity of the record attempts.
