Western Region is ‘likely to make NPP the national governing party forever apart from Ashanti, Eastern – NAPO
Speaking at the launch of the party’s Manifesto at the Ghana Secondary Technical School (GSTS) in Takoradi Sunday, August 18, 2024, Dr. Opoku Prempeh, also known as NAPO, indicated that, the support he has received from the chiefs and people of the region has been overwhelming.
“Since my nomination as the Vice presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party, I’ve spent a considerable time in the Western region. I believe apart from our mother regions –Ashanti and Eastern, the region that is likely to make the NPP the national governing party forever, is the Western region,” he stated.
“I’ve been through Amenfi, Wassa, Dixcove, I’ve been to Dwira, I’ve gone to Nzema, I’ve gone to Ahanta, I’ve been to Essikado, meeting chiefs in all these communities and I’ve been overwhelmed by the love and warmth of the people in this region,” he stated.
The Member of Parliament for Manhyia South and former Energy Minister praised leadership of the party in the region for the marvelous work they have done to consolidate the gains of the party there.
