The Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMAA) is calling for entry of films across Africa to commemorate its 20th-anniversary ceremony.
The year 2024 marks the 20th anniversary celebrating the rich tapestry of films and filmmakers across Africa.
This is necessitated by the call for a late entry submission which has been extended to the 10th of August.
The dream of recognizing and elevating African storytelling through the cinema was birth and conceived by the Africa Movie Academy Awards founder, Peace Anyiam Osigwe of blessed memory.
The story of networking and rewarding the great African filmmaker is incomplete without PEACE, her infringing efforts, commitments and dedication are a testament to the growth of Nollywood and the African film.
Through her contribution and achievements, the world of cinema is honoring, the creativity, innovation and hard work of Africa’s filmmakers across the globe.
