GWR: Third-year KNUST student completes her video game marathon after 56 hours

A student at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Vanessa Azoumaro has successfully completed her Guinness World Record attempt for the longest video game marathon playing games in the Ghost of Tsushima series.

Vannessa initially set her target at 48 hours but exceeded it ending up with an impressive 56 hours, 30 minutes, and 43 seconds.

Her record attempt officially came to an end at exactly 5:30 am on Monday, July 29, 2024.

Her attempt took place at the Airport View in Kumasi SG Mall where friends and supporters gathered to offer moral support.

The third-year Social Work student KNUST was also surrounded by a dedicated monitoring team to ensure the integrity of her attempt.

She is yet to submit evidence to the Guinness World Record team for verification and confirmation.
