‘At my age, you want to determine my views and beliefs?’ – KOD to persons ‘fighting’ him for choosing NDC
Ghanaian media personality, Kofi Okyere Darko (KOD), has taken to social media to respond to his friends and closed ones who are in discontent with his support for the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
In a post on Facebook directed at persons who are disappointed in his political choice, KOD claimed he is of age and capable of making his own decision including his political views.
He said even his family members have different political views and expressed his preparedness to be swayed by opinions of others.
“At my age, you want to determine my political views? No, I’m old enough to think for myself!”
The radio personality and fashion enthusiast has been open about his support for the NDC, a stance that has apparently led to disagreements with some of his friends.
He wrote: “Some people will get distant as “FRIENDS” because you have chosen a side to support politically. Meanwhile, you stayed their friends when they made their political choice.
“At my age, you want to determine my views and beliefs? Eeeeish! You no dey respect like that? Even my family members have different political views, so really…
“Note: they were NEVER your friends in the first place. Tell them to F! off”.
