The celebrated musician took to X on Wednesday to express his profound sadness and remembering the special day and how much he missed her.
In a touching message, Wizkid wrote, “Happy birthday, love of my life! I miss you every day. The first one without you here feels unreal. Nothing makes sense without you, mama! Wizkid’s mother, Jane Dolapo, passed away in the early hours of Friday, August 18, 2023.
On October 13, 2023, she was laid to rest in a private church service in Lagos, which was attended by her relatives.
Morayo was regarded as a crucial person in Wizkid’s life and career since she frequently went to his concerts to support her son.
In his song “Joy,” the artist referred to her as a tremendous supporter, highlighting her important role in helping him become a worldwide celebrity.
