8th Ghana CEO Summit held in Accra with AI for business transformation on the agenda

The 8th Ghana CEO Summit was held on May 27, 2024 at Kempinski Hotel Gold Coast in Accra.

The CEO Summit is a one-day high-impact business leadership summit for over 500 topmost CEOs and dignitaries across West Africa.

This year’s event is being held under the theme “Reigniting Business and Economic Growth: Charting A Path Forward; Economic Diversification and Artificial Intelligence Transformation. A Private-Public Sector CEO Dialogue and High Impact Learning.”

The Vice President of the Republic of Ghana H.E. Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and the former President of the Republic of Ghana H.E John Dramani Mahama are expected to address the CEOs.

“Since its inaugural edition in September 2016, the Summit has been highly successful, drawing over 2,000 CEOs and dignitaries from various countries and sectors,” the organisers said.

The Ghana CEO Summit Supports the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

It is organized by the Chief Executives Network Ghana in collaboration with Deloitte, PricewaterhouseCoopers (Pwc), Ministry of Public Enterprises, Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC), State Interests and Governance Authority (SIGA), University of Ghana and Multimedia group. Over the past five years, the summit has been a pivotal platform for driving impactful change and shaping economic policy.

“With over 80% of CEOs reporting significant personal and professional satisfaction, and approximately 85% of attendees seizing valuable business opportunities, the summit has demonstrated its effectiveness in fostering business leadership and driving economic growth.
