Sire Choppenson was making unnecessary demands; acting greedy – Sammy Flex reacts to claim of unpaid arrears

Sammy Flex the manager of Dancehall musician, Shatta Wale has finally reacted to a Nigerian video director, Sire Choppenson’s claim that Shatta Wale owes him money for over 13 videos shot.

Sammy Flex has disputed Sire Choppenson’s assertions in a viral video on social media, accusing him of spreading false information and being greedy.

According to him, Sire Choppenson approached him to be Shatta Wale’s videographer after splitting up with the team earlier.

He noted that not long after he assumed responsibility as Shatta’s manager, Sire Choppenson pressured him to join the team again and was subsequently added to the artiste’s team.

Sammy Flex narrated that everything was working well until the Tamale concert when issues allegedly began when Sire Choppenson started demanding more money during their trip to Tamale for Shatta Wale’s show.

Sammy Flex also revealed that Sire Choppenson attempted to extort more money from him even after being paid for a video shoot upon their return to Accra.

“I gave him money to acquire equipment for the ‘Killa Ji Mi’ video shoot after which I will give him the rest, which he did. After the shoot, anytime I ask about when the video is going to be ready, he wants to blackmail me for equipment funds that had already been paid to him,” Sammy Flex explained in a video on his YouTube channel.

Sammy Flex further claimed that the videographer ceased communication with him and secretly approached Shatta Wale for additional payment.

“He stopped responding to me. He even threatened to withhold Shatta Wale’s videos unless we paid him more money for the equipment. I urged another team member to contact him, but he ignored calls and messages. Later, I discovered he had directly approached Shatta Wale. Shatta Wale called me and informed me of Choppenson’s grievances,” he added.

“When he thought he was going blackmail me or back stab me, he didn’t know that Shatta knew who he was so he was willing to listen to his lies and nonsense,” he continued.

Sammy Flex stressed how he was collaborating well and had a good relationship with Sire Choppenson until the issues came up.

“He started making unnecessary demands,” Sammy Flex stated.

Sammy Flex said Sire Choppenson currently has three videos belonging to them whoch he has refused to give out to them.

“When we gave him card to copy the videos for me because the files were zipped files, we thought he was copying the real thing for us not knowing he was just copying some of the things we did here in Accra. The real things that I was looking for about three videos, he did not give me, he kept them,” he noted.
