Fans and loyalists of PMXtra Season 2 contestants and winners, the Martess Army culminated their love and support for Martin and Tessy with a citation on Monday, June 24.
The Martess Army eschewed their unending love for the couple, Martin and Tessy who emerged winners of season 2 of Perfect Match Xtra by presenting a citation of Excellence to the couple on TV3’s New Day.
The fans congratulated Martess once more and expressed their commitment to continued admiration for the couple.
“To our beloved champion of Perfect Match Xtra Season 2, Mr. Martin Marvin Akonai and Miss Theresa Lovelyn Agor, you have etched your names into our hearts with every step of your extraordinary journey.
“From the thrilling highs to the challenging lows, you’ve shown us the true meaning of resilience, determination and unwavering passion. Your victory isn’t just a triumph on screen, it’s a testament to the power of dreams pursued with relentless courage,” excerpts of the citation read.

After ten weeks of heartbreaks, secret spill and alliances, Martin and Tessy emerged winners of PMXtra season 2 in a keenly contested competition with Drill and Rosey.
Martin and Tessy garnered 1,117,863 votes, representing 39.94% of the total votes while the first runner ups, Drill and Rose had 1,083,233 votes representing 38.70%.
Jason and Darlyne also garnered 598,008 votes to place third.
Martin and Tessy won a cash prize of GH₵25,000 each, a trip abroad, courtesy to Adansi Travels, a smartphone from Hisense, a month spa treatment, one month grooming services, courtesy Lee Jay looks and other products from the sponsors.
The couple have assured of their commitment to each other and their willingness to stay true to each other and eventually tie the knot.
