People are threatening to hurt my children and kill Judy – Yul Edochie reveals
Nollywood actor and self-acclaimed pastor, Yul Edochie has disclosed that there is a purported plot afoot to murder his second wife, Judy Austin, and harm their two kids.
Yul Edochie in an Instagram post claimed that these persons have created a WhatsApp platform to bully his friends, fans and business associates.
According to him, the group has been using WhatsApp to harass and intimidate people. They have even posted his home location and threatened his partner and kids.
Yul claimed he has reported the incident to the police and is providing a reward of one million naira for information that results in the apprehending of the persons responsible.
“I heard a group of jobless and foolish people formed a WhatsApp group and social media pages, and they’re using them to threaten my fans, friends, and business associates.
“Bullying is unacceptable to me or anyone else. I have reported the matter to the police. If anyone calls or texts you to threaten you, please record the call, copy the number and text, and send it to me so I can forward it to the police for tracking them.
“I heard they went as far as posting my house address on their platform & threatening to hurt my children & kill Judy. They have crossed the line. You cannot sit in your house & tell another person how to live their life. God punish all of you. I will get you all.
“I’m offering N1 million and more to anyone who can provide helpful information about them to aid their arrest. To all my fans & friends all over the world, please assist me in apprehending these psychos. I thank you all for your love & support. God bless you. Cyberbullying is unacceptable,’’ he wrote on Instagram.
As part of efforts to assist with investigations, he has asked everyone who receives threatening calls or texts to record and forward the message to him.
Yul urged everyone to stand with him in opposing this behavior and making sure those who engage in it face the consequences.
Judy and Yul welcomed a son, Star Munachimso, in November 2021. On April 21, 2022, the actor publicly announced Judy as his second wife.
He had been married to May for more than 17 years prior to this announcement, during which time they birthed three boys and one girl.
May, who didn’t seem happy with the marriage, disclosed that her husband had filed for divorce in August 2023 after paying Judy’s bride price on April 24, 2022, without telling her. The specifics of the court case had been withheld.
