The National Democratic Congress (NDC) must come out to point to one thing that Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia said in the past which has not come to pass for which they are labeling him a liar, a Deputy Director of Communications of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Ernest Kofi Owusu-Bempah has said.
For him, every single thing that Dr Bawumia said relating to the economy has come to pass therefore the attempt by the NDC to call him a liar will not materialise.
Dr Bawumia has faced criticism from some quarters mainly from the NDC for his inability to fulfill certain campaign promises, leading to the ‘liar’ label.
Dr. Bawumia is set to contest the 2024 elections as the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
Ernest Owusu-Bempah told journalists on Thursday, August 1 “What has Bawumia said that shows he is a liar? What the NDC is doing is gobelien propaganda, it means tell a lie, continue to tell a lie and it will be the truth.
“What has Bawumia said that has not come to pass that the NDC claims he is a liar? We are daring the NDC to come out and tell us, through his political career, what Bawumia said he would do that he didn’t.”
