The General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Fifi Kwetey has accused the electoral commission of being in bed with the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP).
Fifi Kwetey says that the electoral commission (EC) has been acting in ways that suggest the point they are in cahoots with the NPP.
The NDC does not trust the commission, he said.

Speaking on the Hot Issues on TV3 on Sunday, June 30, he said “The EC must appreciate that its job isn’t to win the elections for anybody, whether NDC or NPP. That’s how they’ll regain our trust
“NDC must take the fight to the NPP with their preparations like how Azumah Nelson went into his landmark bout in Australia. The Commission is clearly in bed with the governing NPP. Our relationship with the Electoral Commission is very difficult because there’s no trust.”
