Afrobeats star Davido has revealed that his wedding wristwatch cost $800,000 (approximately N1.2 billion).
In a viral video on X, Davido showed off his watch stating “Ain’t no fake watch, mehn. $800,000, man.”
This comes after he previously made the controversial claim that Chioma’s engagement ring is worth two to three Rolls Royces.
The highly anticipated white wedding was held at Lagos, Nigeria’s Eko Hotel on Tuesday, June 25.

Davido knelt before Chioma’s parents as part of the customary Igbo marriage traditions, asking for their approval and their daughter’s hand in marriage as well as their assurance that he would love and protect her.
The singer also expressed his gratitude to Chioma’s parents for entrusting him with their daughter, promising to make them proud and honour their trust.
The couple have been together since 2017 and got engaged in 2019 and welcomed their son, Ifeanyi Adeleke, later that year.
Sadly, he passed away at age three after unfortunately drowning in a pool at Davido’s mansion in Lagos. However, Davido and Chioma were later blessed with twins.
Davido and Chioma have finally culminated their on and off relationship with an elegant wedding which captured the attention of many on social media.
